Control Risks Training
Control Risks training services is the training arm of business risk consultancy Control Risks. We are one of the world’s leading providers of training courses to security professionals, ex-service personnel and individuals working in hostile environments. We take pride in our reputation for delivering training which is well respected by employers, enjoyable and informative for participants and, most importantly, helps attendees operate more effectively in their roles, and gives them a head-start in finding work. Previous students of our courses now work within a diverse range of roles on deployments all around the world. Many are employed by Control Risks.
Control Risks’ training team is passionate about the courses we deliver. Because we directly employ many of the participants on our courses, we need to ensure everyone who attends one of our courses is trained to the highest standards – a fact which is well recognised by employers in this sector.
Unlike many training providers, we do not believe it is beneficial to run courses with large groups of participants. Wherever possible therefore, we run our courses for small groups of people with a high ratio between trainers and participants in order to maximise the amount of individual time participants get with trainers. This approach also allows more time for practical exercises, which we believe is key to the learning process.
