Close protection and HECPO course attendee appointed head of Control Risks’ executive protection team
Our training courses are an ideal first step into a career within the security industry. Jamie, Control Risks’ new head of executive protection services has experienced a number of the different career opportunities available.
After leaving the army he completed Control Risks HECPO course. He chose Control Risks’ course because of our long-standing reputation within the security industry. Having completed the HECPO course, he worked for 2 years with Control Risks on one of our contracts in Iraq as an operative and then a team leader before returning to the UK to complete Control Risks’ SIA accredited close protection course.
This led him into a number of close protection tasks, during which time he worked on assignments looking after royalty, celebrities and senior corporate executives in the UK and across Europe on both long and short term tasks.
His new role sees him heading up Control Risks’ team who provide executive protection for our corporate clients. He is responsible for recruitment of new protection officers, managing client relationships and ensuring the smooth running of assignments.
